How to Effectively Prepare for an Important and Upcoming Concert
Concerts and all other things entailed with it don’t come cheap. Especially when the event is a seemingly large one and falls in the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity category, you will definitely have to prepare for it. Why? Because concert tickets might be expensive, the venue might be far from your area and getting and staying there may cost and arm and a leg. If you don’t want to miss this spectacular event, months prior you need to be ready. But if you want to be ready fast and efficiently, here are some tips.
Save
Saving is one of the most important preparations you will have to do. You will need money to buy tickets, book a hotel, and afford petrol and food during your trip. Saving money may sound easy but you’ll never know. So to effectively do it, separate each concert need in an envelope. Mark each envelope as tickets, transport, hotel, and food. Then write the corresponding amount you will need for each.
Everytime it’s your payday or you have extra money, put an amount in each envelope. Keep doing this until you have reached the required amount.
Scout
Scouting goes hand in hand with saving. In order to know the amount you’ll be preparing, you must first find out the prices. Know the price, or at least the price range, of the ticket, hotel rates, your food budget, and how much petrol you’ll burn on the trip. You can find these by researching online. Look on ticketing websites, hotel websites and so on.
Book, Buy, Reserve
As soon as you have reached the right amount, and as soon as the tickets go on sale, buy the tickets straight away. You can do this online or by visiting local ticketing offices. Next, book that hotel room you’ve been preparing for for months. Petrol and food will have to be bought on your way to the venue. So make sure you safely tuck away the money intended for this and don’t forget to bring the money, along with the tickets, on your trip.
If you are going with friends, make sure that you are all coordinated with this plan. You can all save, scout and buy altogether. Doing all these preparations will assure you you won’t have to miss the concert. But most importantly, being prepared earlier and effectively, you won’t have to cram with money and savings as the concert approaches.
