Summer To-Do List in Sydney
A few weeks from now and it’s officially summer in the Land Down Under. If you’re in the Sydney area or are planning to go, be ready to have a fantastic time. In here, nightly world-class performances are offered to the delight of the crowd. You may even have to purchase tickets earlier as Opera House shows are always sold out. Yes, they are that good.
If you want to experience Chinese culture right in the heart of Sydney, head out to Chinatown. Here you can enjoy an infusion of Chinese cuisines, different festivals and traditions, and infamous Chinese ornaments. You ca even bring home some goods to your loved ones by shopping for special and unique Chinese goods in Chinatown.
Moreover, your Sydney experience wouldn’t be complete without hitting the beach. Sydney has wonderful beaches, perfect for surfing, sunbathing, and just people-watching. You can also try some extreme activities like paragliding, windsurfing, and hang gliding.
If you prefer to witness the majestic countryside of New South Wales, head out to Blue Mountain. In here you’ll find the world-famous Three Sisters, a formidable rock formation that will surely take your breath away. There are giant stairs in Three Sisters and you can go hiking whilst soaking in the beauty around you.
Going back to the city, you can still enjoy lots and lots of summer activities. You can stroll around Hyde Park and sit on a nice spot in the park. You can read a book while plopped comfortable under the shade. If you want a one-stop shop for all your summer activities, head out to the Darling Harbour. In here you’ll have a plethora of choices on restaurants, shops and boutiques, and even museums. A day at these sites will surely complete your Sydney summer.
